Parag’s professional journey is as diverse and inspiring as the adventures he curates. After earning his MBA, he ventured into the vibrant world of entertainment media, working as an executive producer in London. Returning to India, he made his mark in television and cinema, founding Creative Canvas Entertainment (a media company) in 2010. His debut production, Laugh India Laugh, became an iconic hit for Star One, catapulting him into the spotlight. With two Dada Saheb Phalke Film Awards and twelve international accolades to his name, Parag’s creative process is undeniable.

Currently, Parag is laying the foundation for an ambitious long-form slate as a producer, creating feature films and web series designed to captivate, inspire, and endure—continuing his pursuit of visually rich, emotionally resonant storytelling that connects with audiences everywhere.

Ellie

Associate Director

Ellie is an Associate Director with Creative Canvas Entertainment, guided by discipline, empathy, and a deep respect for the art.

Convent-schooled and formally trained in filmmaking at Don Bosco, she holds a BA in Mass Media and entered the film industry at the age of 19. She brings hands-on experience as part of the direction team across feature films, web series, TVCs, and digital content. Known for her structured yet gentle way of working, she believes structure should create clarity, comfort, and creative freedom on set.

For Ellie, filmmaking is a collective belief rather than a transaction. It is a sacred act of creation where teams grow into families. Here, imagined worlds come alive through trust and collaboration.

Vikrant Thakur

Director – Outdoors & Digital (Himachal Pradesh)

Vikrant Thakur is the backbone of Creative Canvas Entertainment’s Himachal operations. A true all-rounder, he manages end-to-end outdoor production for films, web series, TV serials, and music videos across the Kullu-Manali region.

A former national-level skier and Asian Games representative, Vikrant brings deep expertise in adventure sports, logistics, and tourism. His hands-on execution and regional knowledge make him indispensable to large-scale outdoor productions.
